Prepping for Surgery

When preparing your pet for any surgical procedure there are a few things to remember:

  • After 9:00 p.m. the night before all food must be taken away, however water can be given until the morning of surgery.
  • Any morning doses of medications, vitamins, and/or injections should be with held unless directed otherwise instructed by the veterinarian.

We also ask owners to please make arrangements to have their pets dropped off the morning of their pets surgery between 7:30 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. unless other arrangements have been made in advance with our clinic.

When dropping off your pet if you have any questions or concerns our staff will be more than happy to answer them for you.

Testimonial

  • "I've been taking my pets that I own myself around 7 years, but my family has used them for my entire life, it is the only place we've ever gone. The staff is great to work with and very knowledgeable. Once we had a pet with more serious medical issues and Dr. Kitty did such a great job of referring us to a specialist, and taking care of us. I will definitely be taking my pets there for years to come."
